低碳而时尚的自行车旅游已经吸引越来越多的人参与其中,是可持续旅游的重要形式。国外学者在这一较新领域已有15年的积累,研究较为系统而深入。文章通过对国外关于自行车旅游的42篇文献进行梳理,认为国外相关研究主要集中于自行车旅游的供给和需求两大方面,影响研究和系统研究方面也有涉及。从供给来说,重点研究自行车旅游产品、营销、组织;从需求来说,重点研究自行车旅游者的行为特征。最后,对该领域在国内外研究的差距做了简要分析,提出建议,以期推动国内自行车旅游研究的发展。

Characterized by being low- carbon and fashion, bicycle tourism has been attracting more and more people. It is an important form of sustainable tourism. It is also a relatively new research field in China, while foreign scholars have conducted related research for about 15 years, thereby accumulating more systematic and in- depth data. In this paper, 42 foreign research papers on bicycle tourism were reviewed. The research results were summarized in five categories： definitions of bicycle tourism, behavioral characteristics of cyclists, bicycle tourism products supply, bicycle tourism impacts,and the systems of bicycle tourism. It was found that most of the studies focused on one of the two key dimensions： the supply and demand for bicycle tourism, and the impacts and systems of bicycle tourism. From the perspective of the supply, the focus was on the products, marketing and organizing activities. From the perspective of the demand, the focus was on the demographic and behavioral characteristics of the cyclists. For example, identification of the demographic characteristics of cyclists,analysis of their consuming behaviors, summary on the contents and models of cyclists, etc. From the perspective of the impacts, the studies proposed that bicycle tourism has positive economic, social and environmental impacts. From the perspective of systems, foreign scholars have constructed an independent bicycle tourism system, and suggested that for bicycle tourism, the trip itself is the most important, the route of bicycling is what attracts the participants, the destinations are in different levels,and the route- way consists of main channels and sub- channels. Finally, a brief gap analysis was conducted on the domestic and overseas studies in this field. Recommendations were made to promote the development of domestic research on bicycle tourism： focus on empirical studies to lay solid foundations for this research field, expand on the scope and enrich the content of research, strengthen collaborations with practitioners, and maintain the sustainability of the studies.
