加拿大魁北克社区学院通识教育强调双语教育是实施公民教育的主要途径，以知识、世界观及伦理道德为核心的人文教育课程体系，以自由选择理念、健康体格训练的内嵌与推进．侧重组织管理、名师工程作用的发挥。国内高职院校应强化通识教育理念的价值诉求、构建与专业教育相协调的通识教育课程体系、加强通识教育的组织管理与有效实施。

Through the systematic research of the connotation of general education, this paper points out the following characteristics： the general education in community colleges in Quebec has the citizenship education implementation way of bilingual education, the humanistic education curriculum system having knowledge, world view and ethics as its core, the embedment and propulsion of the free choice concept and health training, the focusing on organizational management and the role-playing of project of renowned teachers. It analyses general education with a case study of Vanier College, and points out that vocational colleges in China should strengthen the value appeal of general education concept, construct general education curriculum system that coordinates with professional education, and intensify the organizational management and effective implementation of general education.
