“九二共识”的内涵和实质在1992年海协、海基会商谈中就得以确立，事实不容否认。“九二共识”的核心是“一个中国”原则，精髓是求同存异。20多年来，“九二共识”历经考验，为两岸关系的稳定和发展做出了不可替代的贡献，同时又为两岸关系和平发展提供了坚强的后盾和广阔的空间。中国大陆和中国共产党以此作为海峡两岸“两会”接触和商谈、两岸政党交流、两岸经贸制度性往来的政治基础，也是台湾对外交往必须遵守的原则。
“九二共識”的內涵和實質在1992年海協、海基會商談中就得以確立，事實不容否認。“九二共識”的覈心是“一箇中國”原則，精髓是求同存異。20多年來，“九二共識”歷經攷驗，為兩岸關繫的穩定和髮展做齣瞭不可替代的貢獻，同時又為兩岸關繫和平髮展提供瞭堅彊的後盾和廣闊的空間。中國大陸和中國共產黨以此作為海峽兩岸“兩會”接觸和商談、兩岸政黨交流、兩岸經貿製度性往來的政治基礎，也是檯灣對外交往必鬚遵守的原則。

Both of the connotations and essence of the ＂92 Consensus＂ established in the negotiation between Association of Relations across the Strait （ARATS） and Strait Exchange Foundation （SEF） in 1992 is, in fact, the fact that cannot be de- nied. The core of the ＂92 Consensus＂ is ＂One China＂ principle and its essence is to seek common ground while reserving differences. Over the past two decades, the ＂92 Consensus＂ has stood the test of time, making irreplaceable contributions to the stability and development of the cross-Strait relations. On the other hand, the consensus provides a strong backing and vast space for the peaceful development of the cross-Strait relations. The Chinese mainland and the Communist Party take it as the political basis of contacts and discussions between ARATS and SEF, the communications between the political Parties as well as the economic and trade exchanges between the two sides. This is also the principle that Taiwan should abide by in international communications.
