生态—叙事教学法以生态为主导,以叙事为指导,是一种具体的教学方法或技巧,学生积极参加各种教学活动,在活动中主动构建新的认知;学生不仅是学习的参与主体,还是学习的认知主体。在案例分析的基础上,详尽描述了生态—叙事教学法的教学要素。生态是一种方向或教学理念,叙事在生态的指导下可以看作是一种技巧或方法,两者相辅相成,能有效促进大学英语教学。

Ecological-Narrative Approach,threaded by ecology and directed by narrative,is a specific teaching method or technique.It not only embodies that students are subjects actively participating in the teaching activities in college English teaching,but emphasizes that they are the subjects of cognition and active to construct new cognition in those activities.Based on a case study,the study makes a comprehensive description on the major teaching elements in Ecological-Narrative Approach.Ecology is a teaching orientation or idea,and narrative is a method or technique guided by the orientation or idea.They complement mutually and promote college English teaching.
