在知识考古视域下来考量档案,其目的是将＂档案＂置于其本身的语境中,＂回到档案本身＂。计算机技术的冲击将＂档案＂逼入了前所未有的两难境地,＂双套制＂是其中显而易见的一个例子。在这样一个时代拐点来将档案放回其本体位置来考察,作者的意图是对档案进行重新审视,力求将其从繁复的附着物种抽离出来。作者运用福柯的知识考古方法,以福柯对档案的定义为起点,形成以知识考古的方式接近档案的策略,并建立起档案的＂派生树＂,区分出＂作为研究对象的档案＂和＂具有现实功能的档案＂两种档案种类,最终回到＂双套制＂问题上,以说明两者应处于的＂体＂和＂用＂的位置。

The purpose of researching archives in the view of the archaeology of knowledge is to return to archives itself. In the background of computer technology, archives is seemed to be pushed into a dilemma,＂Double-set System＂ is just an evidence. In this time turning point, by putting archives back to its own place, the author attempts to clear the attachments on archives, and re-survey the archives. Apply- ing the method of archaeology of knowledge, the author begins with Foucauh＇s definition of archives, and then forms the tactics to approach archives, builds up a derivation tree of archives. The author also discriminates two kinds of archives：＂archives as a kind of research object＂ and ＂archives which has practical functions＂. At last, by returning to the problem of ＂Double-set System＂, the author explains the position of the two kinds of archives：＂Spirit＂ and ＂Practice＂.
