性别意识是20世纪80年代中国大陆风起云涌的女性/女性主义文学批评的逻辑起点和核心概念,但在多数梳理那一时期文学批评的论著中,则被遮蔽或淡化了。女性/女性主义文学批评将性别意识作为文学研究的基本坐标,突出文学的两性平等价值,推动了文学创作和理论的繁荣,并为对西方女性主义文学批评的辩证汲取奠定了基础,促成了性别意识从传统向现代的转型,逐步呈现出价值取向明晰化、评论话语语境化及批评方法多样化的特色,是一种具备了连贯性、现代性及学术性的批评思潮或流派。

Gender analysis is the logical initial point and core concept of female feminist literary criticism, which experienced flamboyant development in the mainland of China in the 1980＇s. However, this phenomenon is unfairly obscured or overlooked by works that are examining literary criticism in that period. Female feminist literary criticism is a consistent, modern and academic school of literary criticism that takes gender awareness as the fundamental coordinate of literary studies, emphasizes the value of gender equality in literature, and forms the basis for the dialectical integration of western feminist literary criticism. It promotes the transition of gender awareness from what is traditional to what is modern, and features the gradual clarification of value orientation, the contextualization of critical discourse, and the enrichment of critical approaches.
