工业旅游是工业与旅游业融合发展的产物,它是外生性动力和内生性动力共同作用的结果。在需求驱动、规制放松和技术推动的情况下,如果发展旅游经济的边际效益大于发展工业经济的边际效益,工业企业便有了发展工业旅游的动力。和其他产业融合一样,工业和旅游业的产业融合要经过产品融合、组织融合和市场融合等几个阶段;但不同的是,这里的融合不是以技术创新为主动力,而是以需求发展为主动力,属于局部交叉的延伸型融合。在产业融合视角下,工业旅游的开发要重视里层设计和表层设计,里层设计着眼于文化的植入,表层设计强调业态的延伸,两者相辅相成,实现了工业旅游的集群化发展。

Industrial tourism is the combination of industry and tourism and it results from the interaction of exogenous power and endogenous power. Under these circumstances of changing demand,advancing technology and loosening regulation,if the marginal benefit of developmenting tourism is greater than the marginal benefit of developmenting industry,industrial enterprises will have the motive of developmenting industrial tourism. Like the others,the industry convergence of industry and tourism would experience same stages as product integration,organization integration and market integration. But unlike the others,this convergence is primarily driven not by technology innovation but by demand change and it is the partia and cross convergence. On the basis of industry convergence,the development of industrial tourism should pay attention to layer design and surface design. The former can be done from two aspects of enterprise culture and science culture and the latter is that business types should extend to the six elements of tourism industry around the cultures of layer design,by which tourism industry will achieve the clusters development.
