不同的理论视角，对青少年政治社会化问题的解读是不同的。生命历程理论传入我国十多年来，在多个学科领域得到了运用，然而却尚未被纳入到政治社会化研究中。生命历程理论将个体的生命历程看作是社会力量与社会结构的产物，关注个体生命过程中发生的生命事件与个体角色转换。在该理论视角下，政治社会化的研究对象不应再是笼统的青少年，而要予以必要的界定和厘清；要关注和区分个体生命事件的影响及其差异，以及事件发生时间的社会历史意义；注意研究视角的建构性；在研究方法上应逐步采用事件史分析方法，重视对历时数据的积累和研究。

The interpretation of the adolescent political socialization varies in different theoretical perspectives. The life course theory, introduced to China 10 years ago, has been used in a few subjects except the political socialization research. This theory regards the individual life course as the product of the social force and social structure, and focuses on the life event and the individual role conversion. In the perspective of this theory, the research object of political socialization should no longer be the general adolescent and demands to be defined and clarified. We should distinguish the influence of the individual life events and their differences as well as the social and historical significance of the event time, and pay attention to the construction of the research perspective. As for the research methods, we should gradually adopt event history analysis method and pay more attention to the accumulation of diachronic data and research.
