基于CGSS（2008）数据，应用Mclust聚类方法按家庭收入将居民分为四个收入阶层，克服了等分法和中住数法不能准确地把个体分成独立聚集群的缺欠。应用排序和多值选择模型，实证研究发现教育与户口是决定收入阶层的最主要因素，党员身份、工作经验和社会资本都有助于进入更高的收入阶层，而托关系找工作无助于进入高收入阶层。除社会资本外，存在多种机制强化收入阶层的传递效应。应从人力资本积累、教育、户籍和机关改革等多方面改善收入阶层分布，增加阶层的流动性。

Based on the Chinese General Social Survey（2008）, divide Chinese residents into four classes ac- cording to family income with Mclust cluster method, which can overcome the defects of the bisection meth- od and the median method that cannot divide individuals into independent clusters. According to the empiri- cal study of ranking method and multi value choice model, schooling and household register is the key fac- tors of income classes; party membership, work experience and social capital are beneficial to entering into higher income class. However, getting jobs by relationship does not contribute to entering into high income class. Various mechanisms strengthen the transfer effect of income classes besides social capital. Improve the distribution and mobility of income classes by the accumulation of human capital and the reform of edu- cation, household register and government agencies.
