语用能力在一定程度上反应学生是否能够得体应用语言的交际能力,因此应该将培养高职商务英语学生语用能力提到一个重要的位置。问卷调查在广东省J职业技术学院商务英语专业进行,结果客观地反映出高职商务英语学生现行的语用能力水平：整体语用能力水平偏低;高职商务英语教育能够起到提高语用能力作用,但是不明显;学生的语用能力差异与性别无关但是与高职前地区教育水平差异相关。

Pragmatic Competence reflects students＇ Communicative Competence of using language properly to some extent,therefore,to cultivate Business English Majors＇ Pragmatic Competence should be attached great importance in vocational education.A survey was conducted among the Business English majors in J Polytechnic in Guangdong.The results objectively show that the overall Pragmatic Competence level in the Business English Majors is low;the vocational education for the Business English majors can improve the competence only to an unobvious extent;the students Pragmatic Competence is not related to the gender but closely to the regional education level before vocational education.
