The introduction and implementation of the International Diploma Program needs to strengthen the management and localized transformation to meet our needs. Some methods could be carried out at the provincial or municipal level, which include maintaining our educational sovereignty and establishing the core value among students; assigning a third party organization with professional experience to evaluate the trial of an international curriculum; setting up a series of evaluation procedures and standards to effectively guide the evaluation process; encouraging schools to take the initial and active role in introduction process; enhancing a spirit of inquiry amongst the school leaders and teachers. However, some other ways of the localized management could be practiced on the school level, including learning the development direction and key elements in practice, questioning the features of its current context and possibility of alterations, considering how to apply the valuable content of the curriculum in the Chinese context, and discriminating how to combine it with the high school specialties to make the most of it in the process of school reconstruction.
