＂International Conference on Mathematics Textbook Research and Development 2014＂ was held in University of Southampton on July 29--31. The conference included seven themes, textbook research; textbook analysis; textbook comparison or history; textbook use; textbook development; etextbook and technology; other disciplines in mathematics. By combing the summary of the conference, we put forward views and hotspots of the study on mathematics textbook internationally and propose the inspiration and prospect of the further study on mathematics textbook.
