目前我国地理标志主要存在以下问题：定义过于广泛，容易产生歧义；部门职责不明，导致混乱不清；地理标志申报主体不确定，在管理上出现偏差；单纯追求申请注册数量，缺乏实施动力；品牌推广不力，影响消费者认知；生产地范围随意扩展、生产技术任意改变，难以确保产品品质。因此有必要对地理标志从法律保护、经营管理等多方面进行改善，充分协调各部门之间的利益，克服发展中存在的问题，促进地理标志产业的健康发展。

According to relevant laws and regulations of geographic indication and the management and use of geographic indication, we figure out that there exist some problems： the definition is too broad; the responsibility of each department is unclear; the main force apply for geographic indication is uncertain; only the number of application is purchased but the implementation power is in deficiency; ineffective branding affects consumer cognition; and the scope of origin expands unauthorizedly and the production technology changes freely, which cannot guarantee the quality. Therefore, it is necessary to solve those problems by legal protection and scientific management and coordinate the interests among apartments to promote the development of the geographic indication industry.
