On the basis of a critical study into various views on the concept of sports law both at home and abroad, thisthesis defines sports law as a study of laws and regulations of sports, laws applied to sports and their legal phenomena.The denotation of sports law includes international sports law, national sports law, intrinsic sports law and legal phenomenaexisted in mass sports, athletic sports, school sports, sports industries and all fields related to sports. By disciplinarynature, sports law is an interdisciplinary subject of both of sports and laws. Its major researching methods includelegal interpretation, legal sociology, legal philosophy, comparative legal studies, and case analyses.
