等效是译界关注的重要课题之一,认知语言学的兴起为这一课题的深入研究提供了很好的视角。明确翻译活动的本质及翻译中所传递的意义,是在认知的视阈内探讨等效的前提。翻译过程的本质是认知的,译者在这一过程中向译文读者所传递的是识解后的概念化意义,寻求译文中识解维度与原文中识解维度的最大关联或最佳关联是实现认知等效的最佳路径。
等效是譯界關註的重要課題之一,認知語言學的興起為這一課題的深入研究提供瞭很好的視角。明確翻譯活動的本質及翻譯中所傳遞的意義,是在認知的視閾內探討等效的前提。翻譯過程的本質是認知的,譯者在這一過程中嚮譯文讀者所傳遞的是識解後的概唸化意義,尋求譯文中識解維度與原文中識解維度的最大關聯或最佳關聯是實現認知等效的最佳路徑。

Cognitive linguistics provides a perspective for the study of equivalence which is one of the important projects in translation.Clarifying the nature of translating activity and the meaning transferred from source language text to target language text is the precondition for further investigations into equivalence from the perspective of cognitive linguistics.It is concluded that translation in nature is cognitive.During the translating process,translators transfer to target readers the conceptualized meaning construed from source language writer.Cognitive equivalence is put forward for the first time as the guiding principle for translators and two approaches to follow the principle are proposed,namely,realizing the maximal relevance or optimal relevance between the construal dimensions in target language text and those in source language text.
