This paper uses the materials in such sections as TusiBiography,GeographicalRecords, Life Stories of Officials and A History of Military Forces in the two history books A History of the MingDynastyandManuscriptsoftheHistoryoftheQingDynasty,and from the historical perspec-tive expounds the concepts of Tusi and their specific signification.
