作为老一代无产阶级革命家,习仲勋在长期从事民族宗教工作的过程中,创造性地提出了＂两个不能变＂、＂团结封建反封建＂、在民族区域自治中要反对＂两种偏向＂、做好＂两个准备＂等著名论断,始终坚持原则性和灵活性的相统一,有效地化解了西北地区的民族冲突,为顺利推进社会主义建设做出了独特贡献,其民族思想和实践对于我们今天实现民族和谐具有重要的启示意义。

As the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries,Xi Zhongxun had long been engaged in the ethical and religious work,in the process,he creatively put forward to some famous judgments such as＂Two should not be changed＂, ＂Unite the feudal to fight against feudalism＂, ＂Against two kinds of deviations＂,＂Do a good job in ‘two preparation＇,etc.Adhering to the method of the unity of principle and flexibility,he resolved the ethnic conflicts in Northwest China effectively and made a unique contribution to promoting the socialist modernization smoothly.The ethical thought and practice has an important enlightenment for us to realize the national harmony today.
