通过实验方法研究普通话单字调调素的音高,得出调素的音区特征和曲拱特征。实验发现普通话声调包含三个调素,分别是高音区调素H、中音区调素M和低音区调素L,普通话四个声调用调素表示为阴平HHH、阳平MHH、上声LLH、去声HML。调素有曲拱,每个调素都是平拱,各声调的曲拱样态由平拱组合而成。

An experimental method is taken to research tonal elements＇ pitch on modern Chinese mono-syllable tone in this paper,obtaining register feature and arch feature of the tonal element. There are some experimental results. Standard Chinese tones contain three tonal elements,i.e.,high register tonal element H,middle register tonal element M, and low register tonal element L. Standard Chinese tones are represented with tonal elements as follows：Tone one HHH,Tone two MHH,Tone three LLM,Tone four HML. The tonal element has arch,and every tonal element is flat arch. Tonal arch grundmodus are made up of flat arch.
