《论语》之《学而》篇第二章的"孝弟为仁之本"解为孝悌是实践"仁"德的根本;《雍也》篇第十六章中的"而"字作"却"字解,据此将本章理解为:没有才能,却有美色,在现今社会里就很难避免被祸害;《卫灵公》篇第三章的"一以贯之"解为学习在方法上要注意确立统贯的思想原则。

In the second chapter of Learning of the Confucian Analects, what Master says "filial piety and fraternal duty is the fundamental virtue of benevolence" is interpreted, in this paper, as "filial piety and fraternal duty is the premise to practice benevolence"; in the Chapter XVI of Yong, the character "Er" is interpreted as "Que", whereby this chapter is understood assomeone who has no talent but beauty is difficult to avoid being scourged in present society; in the Chapter III of Duke Wei Ling, what Master says "one principle runs through all things" is interpreted to establishing the consistent thought in learning.
