中国当代科幻小说已进入了一个新的发展阶段,表现在：人本是科幻思维的起点;科学危机引发人类的警醒;类型化叙述和现代化叙述增强了小说的文学性。这三个特征表现出两个问题：一是科技发展的双重焦虑：科技发展的进步性焦虑和人类生存的幸福感的焦虑;二是类型小说如何突破原有的创作思维,走向现代叙述。应该说,中国当代科幻小说已经融入世界科幻小说创作潮流之中,却也有中国自己的思考和特征。与中国任何时期的科幻小说相比,当下的科幻小说读起来都要沉重得多,却也深刻得多。虽然少了激情和理想,充满着焦虑和不安,但均体现出以人为本的基本理念。

Chinese contemporary science fiction has entered a new stage of development because three features has appeared： Humanism is the starting point of thinking. Science crisis alert humans.Genre narrative and modern narrative enhace the literature and which put forward two aspects： The first is the double anxiety： the anxiety of science development whether progress or not and the anxiety of human＇s survival whether happy or not. The second is to break the original thinking to modern narrative. Chinese contemporary science fictions have integrate into the current of the world science fictions creation, but it also has Chinese concepts and features . Contract to the science fiction of any time,the contemporary science fictions are more heavier, however, also are more profound. They are all express the basic people-oriented concepts though they still lack vision , passion, and are full of anxiety and unease.
