在中日钓鱼岛争端中,美国因素贯穿始终。从国际法角度来看,正是由于美国一再违反国际法条约、不履行所承担的国际法义务的行为,造成了中日钓鱼岛争端的现状。随着国际形势变化,美国在中日钓鱼岛争端中扮演着不同角色,辩证地看,其中既有发挥正面效应的积极因素,也有产生负面效应的消极因素。在钓鱼岛争端中必须充分利用积极因素,有效应对消极因素,并在一定条件下促成消极因素向积极因素转化。
在中日釣魚島爭耑中,美國因素貫穿始終。從國際法角度來看,正是由于美國一再違反國際法條約、不履行所承擔的國際法義務的行為,造成瞭中日釣魚島爭耑的現狀。隨著國際形勢變化,美國在中日釣魚島爭耑中扮縯著不同角色,辯證地看,其中既有髮揮正麵效應的積極因素,也有產生負麵效應的消極因素。在釣魚島爭耑中必鬚充分利用積極因素,有效應對消極因素,併在一定條件下促成消極因素嚮積極因素轉化。

American factor does exist throughout the dispute between China and Japan regarding to Diaoyu islands. From the perspective of international law, it is the U.S. who violated the spirit of the international treaty and the obligation of international law that contributes most in the formation of the dispute. In the process of the dispute, U.S. government plays different roles to adapt itself to the changing international situation and its national strategy. Dialectically speaking, the U.S. government plays positive roles as well as negative roles in the development of the dispute on Diaoyu islands. It is necessary for China to utilize the positive ones and overcome the negative ones, meanwhile promote it to the favorable ones under certain conditions.
