改革开放以来,中国的教育改革在取得巨大成就的同时,也为今后教育的改革与发展积累了诸多成功的经验。从改革的先决条件、方向、内容、方式及途径上来总结经验对未来的教育改革与发展具有重要的理论和实践意义。在改革的先决条件上,坚持把教育放在优先发展的战略地位;在改革的方向上,重视党和国家的教育方针的正确指引;在改革的力量上,以政府为主导,调动教师和全社会力量的办学的积极性;在改革内容上,以教育体制改革为突破口,逐步推行各级各类教育改革;在改革的方式上,强调协调、公平、可持续发展;在改革的途径上,把立足国情与对外开放结合起来。

Since the reform and opening up, the educational reform in China has received tremendous achieve- ments. These lay bases for the educational reform and development in the future. It is of significant theoretical and practical meanings for the educational reform and development in the future to sum up the experience from the pre- condition, direction, forces, content, manner and pathway. In terms of the precondition, to give priority to educational development and put it in strategic position;in terms of the reform direction, to pay emphasis on the correct guidance of educational guideline of the CPC and the State; in terms of the reform forces, to motivate the enthusiasm for manag- ing a school of teachers and all the social forces under the lead of the government; in terms of the reform content, to take the reform of education system as a breakthrough and then conduct all kinds and levels of education reform grad- ually; in terms of the educational manner, to stress on the coordinate, fair, and sustainable development; in terms of the reform pathway, to be based on national conditions and to be open to the outside world.
