The for-profit higher education has given a specific impact on the higher education in the U.S.A, and has gradually set up a kind of complicated relationship with the non-profit higher education. While developing pros- perously, however, the for-profit higher education in the U.S.A faces a series of difficulties and challenges. After ana- lyzing deeply the for-profit higher education in a predicament and exploring the possible outlet, there seems might be a way out by legalization, standardization and promoting the level of the for-profit universities and colleges in the U.S.A.
