This paper expounds and summarizes the education idea, curriculum design, and teaching methods in the British education system, as well as the experience of the school to cultivate creative talents and elites. It holds that the British people attach great importance to the tradition and innovation on the aspect of talent cultivation, which has the feature seientificalness, systematization and integration, and especially has peculiarity in cultivating the elites. Besides,it points out that China can use its idea about creative talent cultivation for reference, and it should develop children＇s innovation potential, respect the convergence and systematization of the talent cultivation, and focus on difference of the talent cultivation and practical teaching, so as to create multi - layered international environment for the growth of the creative talents.
