统筹城乡发展理论具有较早的研究历史,中外很多学者对此进行的相应研究,为统筹城乡实践提供了理论支持。但是,基于时代背景以及研究对象等内容的不同,国外学者关于统筹城乡理论的研究尚不能完全适应我国的国情,而我国学者的相关研究也存在诸多缺陷,需要继续对统筹城乡发展问题进行更深入地探索和研究,以推动我国统筹城乡发展实践工作有效开展。

Balanced urban- rural development theory has an earlier research history in our country, many scholars at home and abroad have made the corresponding research, providing theory support for the balanced urban and rural devel- opment practice. But, according to the different time background and the research object, many foreign scholars research on the theory of urban - rural areas as a whole is not fully adapted to the situation of our country, and studies of the do- mestic scholars also have many defects, requiring to planning for urban - rural development in - depth exploration and study, so as to promote the effective work of balanced urban - rural development practice in China.
