当前的中国社会进入以“社会建设”为重点的二次转型新阶段，为高等教育研究及发展转向提供了宏观背景和未来导向。“社会结构转型”概念已经成为解构我国当下面临的经济社会深刻变动的重要视角，对“二次转型”期间包括高等教育在内的教育研究理应将其置于社会结构转型的背景之下。研究应当围绕当前中国社会结构转型特点及趋势，高等教育结构要素划分及发展新挑战，高等教育结构转型的现实基础及转型路径，高等教育转型中的高等教育价值重建等问题展开。

Currently, Chinese society is entering a new“second transformation” phase that emphasizes“social construction”.This situation provides macroscopic background and future orientation for the research and develop-ment of higher education.“Social Structure Transformation” has become an important perspective of analyzing cur-rent economic and social changes in China, and has put education study during“the second transformation”, inclu-ding higher education, under the perspective of social structure transformation.The research should be centered a-round the characteristics and trends of current Chinese social structure transformation, the fundamental elements of the structure of higher education, new challenges, realistic foundation and transformation paths of higher education structure transformation, reconstruction of values in the process of higher education reform.
