从诗歌史、音乐史、词体发生史的演变历程,以及版本、作者背景、作品诸多方面综合考察,李白词可以确认为真实的存在。《宫中行乐词》八首、《清平调》三首、《清平乐》四首,三组作品均为李白在天宝二年于宫廷应制写作,分别写作于该年早春、仲春和暮春,在题材和写法上顺承而下,清晰显示了词体诞生之际的蜕变痕迹和发生历程。《菩萨蛮》《忆秦娥》在李白临别宫廷的诗作中也可以一一得到对应和验证,"玉阶空伫立",是李白"玉阶生白露,夜久侵罗袜"与"结桂空伫立"的重新组合与词体表达,玉阶专指宫廷,较早见于陆机《班婕妤》;如"西风残照,汉家陵阙",在李白同期诗作《灞陵行送别》中字字对应.
