从河北正定广惠寺两尊唐代玉石佛像底座铭文可知:西侧佛像雕成后最初供奉于恒州龙兴寺,证明《唐会要》相关记载的正确;该佛像首次以实物形式证明,包括恒州在内的同、华等八十一州的国忌行香制度至晚于开元十五年(727)已开始实行;铭文所列开元十五、十六两年先朝9次国忌日,均以其在一年中的时序而非诸帝后的在位先后为序,反映了地方官在执行国忌行香制度时的实际运作;贞元十一年(795)西侧佛像因供奉该像的殿堂被毁,被临时迁至当寺(即恒州龙兴寺)食堂内安置,"都检校"龙兴寺"重修造"且出任龙兴寺寺主者为"开元寺僧智韶",体现了中唐时期开元寺作为一州官寺,对于当州其他寺院佛教事务的管辖权力。

An investigation of the inscriptions on the two Tang Dynasty jade Buddhas' substrates in the Guanghui Temple in Zhengding, Hebei, reveals that the two lines newly-carved Buddha statues were enshrined and worshipped at the Longxing Temple in Hengzhou, which happeat the Longxing Temple in Hengzhou, which happened to agree with the relevant records in The Essentials of Law and Regulations of the Tang Dyniasty These Buddha statues prove in a physical form for the first time that the system of the imperial death anniversary prayer service started in the 81 state including the states of Tong and Hua as early as the 15^th year of the imperial title of Kaiyuan (727 AD). The 9 imperial death anniversaries to the former emperors and empresses in the 15^th and 16^th years of Kaiyuan recorded in the inscriptions were listed chronologically in the two years but not in their reigns, which indicated the practical performance of the imperial death anniversary prayer service by local officials. In the 11^th year of the imperial title of Zhenyuan, because of the ruin of the worship hall, the line of Buddha statues alongside the west wall were temporarily moved to the temple's dinning hall. "Zhishao the monk of the Kaiyuan Temple" was appointed as the "supervisor of re-building" of the Longxing Temple. This showed the power of control of the Kaiyuan Temple as the state official temple over other temples in the state.
