American Pearl Buck won the Nobel Prize for literature for her novel The Good Earth with Chinese subject matter and in her speech entitled ＂The Chinese Novel＂, she systematically ex- pounds her ＂Chinese experiences＂ in her novel writing： writing concept ＂in order to please the civil- ian＂, narrative style of ＂Gifted waterflow of the story＂, and the characterization of the ＂superiority of characters＂. These ＂Chinese experience＂ is the main spiritual resource of her writing and artistic res- ervation, and reflected in various aesthetic form in her works. The ＂Chinese experience＂ of Pearl Buck is similar to that of the Chinese writers such as MO Yah with differences and references. It contributes to the variety of artistic expression in Chinese novels.
