Beginning Teacher Induction Program plays a crucial role in promoting primary and secondary school teachers＂ professional development and the quality of school education in America. It is composed of six modules, such as program values, guiding principles, induction targets, components, training modes and induction evaluation. It is an integral part of the American teacher education system, and has formed its own unique characteristics. Especially its value and goals, its logical and coherent instructional practice model, and its evaluation system oriented to teacher professional development, are of great significance for improving and enhancing teacher induction in China.
