资源是大学赖以生存和发展的物质基础和条件保障。在当前大学资源十分紧缺的情势下,开展大学资源增值的研究与实践,实现大学资源的最大增值效应,成为各国大学亟须解决的时代课题。大学资源的增值,不仅有赖于大学资源增值观念的确立以及资源配置和经营管理水平的提升,而且取决于存量资源的高效利用和潜在资源的深度开发。在此方面,加拿大大学有着先进的资源增值模式和科学的运营管理策略,如专业化的金融投资、市场化的校园经营、多元化的社会捐赠、社会化的成果转化、绩效化的组织管理等,实现了大学资源的充分开发和高效利用,创造了更多的经济价值和社会价值。加拿大大学资源增值之道对我国大学资源增值理念和实践颇具启发意义。

The survival and development of the universities strongly rely on various resources. Since the current university resources are very limited, it becomes an urgent need that the universities all over the world should carry out research and practice so as to maximize the university resource increment. The increment of the university resources depends not only on the establishment of such ideas and the improvement in resource allocation and management. Moreover, the efficient utilization of the current resources and further development of the potential resources are also o! key importance. Canadian universities have advanced resource increment model and scientific management strategies such as professional financial investment, market-based campus management, diverse social donation, socialized scientific achievements transformation, and performance-based organization management. These strategies help developing and utilizing the university resources fully and efficiently, creating more economical and social values. The strategies of Canadian universities may provide a good reference and enlightenment in both mental and practice to Chinese universities upon resource increment.
