Integrating the perspectives of globe and locality,tradition and modernity and focusing on cultural pattern and cultural consciousness,this paper analyzes the connotation and evolution of health preservation through sports.It also explains in detail the content of sports culture,health preservation culture and the culture of health preservation through sports and the interrelationship between sports and health preservation,leading to the conclusion that cultural consciousness plays a key role in bringing about full vitality to the local culture.
