考察21世纪英语国家的教育哲学研究可以从组织视角着手.英语国家主要的五个教育哲学组织包括国际教育哲学家网、美国教育哲学学会、英国教育哲学学会、澳大利亚教育哲学学会以及加拿大教育哲学学会.这五个教育哲学组织虽然近十年来在组织结构与宗旨上并无太大变动,但是在研究主题、内容与方法上却呈现出新趋势.教育哲学的学科身份引发了学界持久的争论.其中,以“赫斯特—卡尔”之辩为缘起,形成了理论哲学路向、实践哲学路向和“温和二元路向”这三种路向.总体而言,英语国家教育哲学研究凸显了关注教育实践、强调跨学科研究与价值理念多元化的特征.

Compared with the 20th century, philosophy of education in the 21st century takes on different characteristics. This article attempts to explore the organizations of philosophy of education in major English-speaking countries, focusing on the developmental characteristics and future trends of philosophy of education in the new century, based on the due investigation on recent status and research issues of these organizations. The main organization structures of INPE, PES, PESGB, PESA and CPES take slight changes in the recent decade, while specific problems in practice have been discussed more widely despite the fact that the traditional topics are still debated. As one of the basic issues for philosophy of education, subject identity has been a debating lasting topic with the beginning of "Hirst-Carr Debate". There have been three approaches to its subject identity in the academic circles, namely theoretical philosophy approach, practical philosophy approach and mild duality approach. Focusing on educational practice and interdisciplinary research stands out in all the research issues of philosophy of education in today' s English-speaking countries with the characteristic of multiple values.
