Integrating local universities and colleges into the vocational education system is the need of accelerating the development of modem vocational education in our country, and it is the way to run out of the current development dilemma of local universities and colleges. The integrating can improve the quality of talents training and the ability to serve the community. Shanghai Institute of Technology＇s experience shows that it is a good choice for local universities and colleges that they transform themselves integrating the education and industry in applied technology education and enhance the professional potential of their students. And we need to join up secondary vocational education and undergraduate education together, and develop the high-level vocational education during the process of integrating themselves into vocational education system.
