金融业的发展与交通结构、通畅程度存在着密切关系,二者关联性在区域金融网的形成初期是比较显性的。津浦铁路通车后,蚌埠成为皖北区域经济中心,其金融业的发展显然受惠于新型交通网络。但是,交通推动金融业发展是有限度的。铁路运输不畅和相对落后的区域经济发展水平,成为制约蚌埠金融业发展的主要因素。
