康德将理性的自我批判比作"法官"组织法庭审判自身。那么理性为何能够充当"法官"对自身进行批判?阿伦特对"行动者"与"旁观者"及柄谷行人对"事先"和"事后"双重视角的区分,为回应此问题提供了一种可能的方式。在这种区分下,理性的自我批判所以可能,是由于康德看待理性概念的视角由"事先"移动到了"事后",由处于"行动者"的视角转换为"旁观者"的视角。

Kant compared reason's self-criticism to a "judge" organizes the court to try himself. But the problem is why reason can act as a "judge" to check on his own Arendt's twofold perspective of "actor" and "bystander" and Kojin Karatani's twofold perspective of "ex ante facto" and "ex post facto" provides a possible way in response to this problem. From the two- fold perspective, reason's self-criticism is possible because of Kant's perspective of reason moved from "ex ante facto" to "ex post facto" hence from "actor" to "bystander".
