Islam plays a positive role in promoting the ethnic economy in Xinjiang .In this article, the author probes into the privileges of Islam with the background of new vision to explore the new road for ethnic economic development in Xinjiang , which is to find the theoretical basis for the balanced ethnic economic development , as well as to provide intellec-tual support and a strong guarantee for the harmonious development of economy in Xinjiang .
