家族企业成为中国改革开放之后占主要地位的私营经济模式,如何实现家族企业的可持续发展成为企业界和学术界关注的焦点。文章在对相关领域民族志材料进行分析论证的基础上发现,中国因其几千年家族主义的文化传统,对家族企业的创立、生产与经营起着重要的作用;在现代社会中,家族文化也未曾失去生命力,而是作为一种文化传统为家族企业的生存提供了社会文化支持。对家族文化的传统继承,或可为现代家族企业谋求可持续发展提供一些启示。

Family business has made its domination in market practices in contemporary China .A lot attention has given to sustainable development of private family business by scholars in both applied and academic subjects .This article treats family culture as a kind of cultural tradition and tries to argue that it is a kind of extending tradition but not a kind of negotiation with modern capitalism that has made positive effects on the establishment and development process of Chinese family business.Thus the refocus on family culture and the culture of “familism” may give inspirations on the sustainable development of modern family business in contemporary China .
