Hu Shi checked the authenticity of Han Feizi and other Fajia works,and employed modern concept to expoun-ded Fajia thought.He associated Fajia thought with western laws,interpreted Fajia thought using the concept of“evolution”and examined the thought of Fajia’s“rule of law”from the perspective of logics.The academic paradigm founded by Hu Shi in the research of Fajia thought and his academic spirit occupied an important position in the transformation of modern research on the school of Zhu zi.
