研究表明，在“省力原则”的作用下，方块壮字存在与汉字类似的“效用递减”趋势，少数字符的效用高，多数字符的效用低。但是，与汉字相比，由于字形规范化和语料规模的制约，方块壮字“效用递减”的趋势没有那么明显，高频字不够“高效”，效用也不够集中。
연구표명，재“성력원칙”적작용하，방괴장자존재여한자유사적“효용체감”추세，소수자부적효용고，다수자부적효용저。단시，여한자상비，유우자형규범화화어료규모적제약，방괴장자“효용체감”적추세몰유나요명현，고빈자불구“고효”，효용야불구집중。
Research show s that ,under the influence of the“principle of least effort” ,there is a di‐minishing trend in the utility of character frequency ,with the utility of a few characters in high fre‐quency ,but with most characters in low efficiency .However ,because of the standard of typeface and corpus size ,the diminishing trend is not so obvious compared with Chinese character ,and high‐fre‐quency words are not efficient enough and the utility is not concentrated enough .
