面对世界思想文化激荡和国内改革攻坚,如何创造既富有民族优良传统又有鲜明时代特点,既立足中国大地又面向世界,既正视国情现实又放眼未来的新文化,是摆在我们面前的重大课题.本文从延续民族文化血脉中开拓前进,反思激进的文化批判,提高国家文化软实力,推进马克思主义与中华优秀传统文化深度结合等方面对此进行了阐发.

Facing the surges of world culture and the critical stage of domestic reform, how should we create the new culture which combines both excellent national tradition and distinct modern characteristics, adhering to China and looking to the world, facing up to national reality and taking a broad view of future new culture？ That is a major problem we have to solve. This paper urges that we should inherit and further develop national culture, reflect on radical cultural critique, build up the soft power of national culture, and promote the further combination of Marxism and outstanding traditional Chinese culture.
