Aiming to give a comprehensive introduction to the Qing Dynasty palace examination papers collected in Nanjing Library, this paper not only describes how these papers were scattered into the folk from the Imperial Cabinet Repository in the Qing Dynasty as well as from the History Museum of Education Ministry of Beiyang Government in the period of Republic of China, explores how they were reverted to the public repesition system from private collections, but also profiles the collection of palace examination papers at home and abroad nowdays, revealing the palace examination papers＇ cultural relics value and their documentary value.
