In the process that Brandom explains and analyses the normative dimension of linguistic practice,he inherits and criticizes the opinions of Kant,Wittgenstein,Frege et al from the standpoint of rationalism and pragmatism. Therefore,revealing the inherent relation between them and Brandom’s thought,and exhibiting the path of the formation and theoretical construction of his normative pragmatics are of important epistemological value and methodological significance for grasping as a whole the essence and orientation of Brandom’s theory.
