通过对黑格尔生前和身后发表文本的努力挖掘,重在说明,黑格尔在青年时期是法国大革命的完全同情者,中年时期是拿破仑的大力支持者,老年时期是时代精神的批判反思者。黑格尔的一生站在时代前列,逐步深入地认识社会和国家制度的现实性和合理性,把黑格尔说成是德国专制的辩护者不符合历史事实。

This paper intends to explain that Hegel was a completely sympathizer of the French Revolution in his youth, was a strong supporter of Napoleon in his middle age and was a repudiate and reflector of the time spirit in his old age by exploring the texts published during his life time and after his death. Being the forefront of the time in his whole life, Hegel understood the reality and rationality of the society and the state institution gradually and deeply. Therefore, to regard Hegel as a defender of the German autocracy is in contradiction with the historical fact.
