大革命失败后,毛泽东等领导人建立了井冈山革命根据地。以毛泽东为代表的共产党人在井冈山开辟的中国特色的革命道路,不仅是一条将中国革命引向成功的胜利之路,一条符合当时中国国情和革命形势的科学发展之路,而且是一条艰辛探索并取得初步成效的基层民主实践之路。我们党非常注重基层民主建设,尤其是在加强基层民主建设方面作了艰辛的探索并实行了多项基层民主措施,现代基层民主的理念在一定程度上得以体现。我们现在也在进行基层民主建设,井冈山时期所积累的宝贵经验,我们可以借鉴并发扬光大,可以让我们更好地加强民主监督,保障广大群众的民主权利。

After the failure of the great revolution, Mao Zedong and other leaders established the Jinggangshan revolutionary base. Communists represented by Mao Zedong in Jinggangshan opened revolutionary road with Chinese characteristics, which is not only a victory road that leads the Chinese revolution to success,a scientific development road which conforms China＇s national conditions and the revolutionary situation at that time, but also is a hard road which achieved preliminary results in the practice of democracy at the grasstoots level. Our Party attaches great importance to the building of grassroots democracy,in particular, the implementation of a number of grassroots democracy measures, the concept of modern democracy at the grassroots level to be reflected to a certain extent. We now also is in the construction of democracy at the grassroots level,we can learn from the valuable experience accumulated in the period of Jinggangshan and carry forward, so that we can strengthen the democratic supervision better and to guarantee the democratic rights of the broad masses of the people.
