文章在详细介绍克拉运河项目产生及发展的基础上,客观分析了修建克拉运河对中国和泰国的战略意义,对世界经济发展和政治格局带来的影响,以及当前该项目建设面临的风险与挑战。本文认为,我国必须坚持以建设21世纪海上丝绸之路为战略契机,以多边合作组织为建设平台,以＂风险共担、利益共享、互利共赢＂为合作原则,以＂中国-东盟＂区域合作组织为政治保障,以亚洲基础设施投资银行和＂丝路基金＂为金融支撑,共同推动区域经济一体化深入发展,促进亚太自贸区早日建成。

This paper makes a detailed introduction about Kra Canal project, an objective analysis of the strategic significance to China and Thailand, as well as the impact on the development of the world economy and political structure. And then it summarizes the risks and challenges faced by the current project construction. This article believes that during the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, we promote Kra Canal project must take the construction of ＂21st Century Maritime Silk Road ＂ as strategic opportunity, multilateral cooperation organization as platform, risk sharing and profit sharing as prin- ciple, China - ASEAN Regional Cooperation Organization as political security, AIIB and Silk Road Fund as fi- nancial support, promote the regional economic integration and the FTAAP District early completion.
