我国中小学教师队伍性别比例发生变化,呈现出明显的女性化趋势,而这一趋势在我国农村地区表现更加复杂。从河北、云南、贵州三省五县的调研来看,农村中小学教师性别结构的女性化有着深刻的社会原因,而农村教师队伍的过分女性化不利于农村学校和学生的发展,对女教师自身也形成一定的制约。因此,要从政策上加以重视并提出相应解决建议。

The sex radio of teacher staff in compulsory education of China shows a clear trend of female domination. This trend becomes even more complicated in rural areas. The research in five counties from Hebei Province, Yunnan Province and Guizhou Province indicates that there lies a social cause beneath the female dominant sex radio. The unbalanced sex radio does harm to the development of rural schools and students, while limits the development of female teachers. Thus, it is necessary to pay attention to this issue at the policy level and solutions should be offered.
