随着经济的高速增长和城市化的迅猛推进,我国中产阶层人群规模不断扩大,“80后”将逐步成为新中产阶层的主力军,他们不仅具有向上流动机会受阻的整体特征,特殊的社会环境也使该群体内部出现了向上流动处境多元分割及发展策略多元化的特点.

With the development of economics and urbanization, the middle class in China has expanded steadily, and the post-80s generation gradually becomes the main force of new middle class. Adopting the theory of social stratification in the fast changing Chinese society, this article focuses on the pathways of upward social mobility, and especially paying attention to their individual experience and subjective strategies. This article argues that the post- 80s generation is facing the barriers and obstacles of upward social mobility in general; however, they are differentiated into multiple sub-groups with different opportunities of upward mobility and therefore developing multiple coping strategies under special circumstances.
