Based on observing and inducting the typical phenomena and trends in the intellectual property community, the concept of intellectual property 2.0 era was proposed. Intellectual property 2.0 era, as institutional environment, reflects the fact that more attention is increasingly paid to intellectual property, and intellectual property is more closely associated with strategies. As a conversion of applying paradigm, intellectual property is increasingly becoming tools of games and competitions between states, business and enterprise, and it has been used in more flexible way. Many challenges were brought on the aspects of national development, industrial progress, business competition, technological innovation, etc. In the article, different countermeasures both at government level and corporate level were offered to meet the challenges of intellectual property 2.0 era.
