雷戈《秦汉之际的政治思想与皇权主义》一书为中国古代政治思想史研究提供了一种新的研究范式。雷氏认为除传统研究范式外,可从制度与思想的互动中建构出政治思想的复杂脉络,这种由制度分析揭示出来的思想史可称作＂制度思想史＂。中国古代政治思想史研究不但需要分析思想家的理论建构,也需要对制度实践过程中的政治思想予以阐发,这正是制度思想史的必要性所在。而制度思想史＂制度分析＂和＂技术分析＂的提出,使得这种制度思想史研究成为可能。制度思想史的提出,不但使旧史料具有了新的价值,更使思想的阐发回到了历史现场,同时也为平庸时代思想史的撰写提供了一条新的路径。毫无疑问,该书为中国政治思想史研究提供了一个新的范式,值得我们深入发掘与探讨。

Lei Ge＇ s monograph Political Ideology and Imperial power in the Transition from Qin to Han Dynasty proposes us a new academic paradigm to study the history of Chinese ancient political and ideology. Apart from the traditional research methods,L el thinks that we can construct the complicated political and ideological contexts from the interaction of system and Ideology. This kind of ideological history which was revealed by the institutional analysis can be called the history of system ideology. The study of the history of Chinese ancient political and ideology not only need to analyze the thinkers＇ theoretical construction but also to interpret the ideas during the system operate, which is the necessity of the history of system ideology.
